Sheriff Joe's posse delivers promised Obama surprise

Panel probing eligibility for 2012 ballot wants to see original birth certificate

Arizona's maverick Sheriff Joe Arpaio promised surprises in his jurisdiction's investigation of Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidential ballot and his Cold Case Posse is delivering – raising questions that touch on the authenticity of the long-form birth certificate issued last April and the possibility Obama is using a fraudulent Social Security Number.
Sources close to the investigation say the posse has decided it needs to see original birth records before it can conclude whether Obama should be eligible for the presidential ballot in 2012, not an electronic file or scanned copies.
The sources say the panel needs to examine the microfilm documenting Obama's birth, as well as the ink-and-paper original 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health is holding in its vault.
The PDF file and various scanned copies of the birth certificate that the White House released April 27 are simply not good enough, the posse has determined.

Earlier this month, WND senior staff reporter Jerome R. Corsi spent 18 hours over a two-day period in Arizona briefing the Cold Case Posse on a wide range of evidence regarding Obama's eligibility.
"The posse wants to see the entire microfilm roll containing Obama's birth certificate, not just a microfilm copy of Obama's long-form birth certificate in isolation," Corsi explained. "An individual microfilm copy could be forged, but forging the entire microfilm reel on which Obama's birth certificate is in sequence would be almost impossible."
Also, Corsi said, the posse wants the ink-and-paper original 1961 Obama birth records still held in vault by the Hawaii Department of Health to be released publicly and subjected to independent court-authorized forensic examination.
Corsi affirmed that the posse's conclusion it needs to see the Obama birth certificate microfilm is part of the "shock" that Arpaio warned would be forthcoming, when he spoke last week to the Surprise Tea Party group meeting in Surprise, Ariz.

The focus on the microfilm records of Obama's birth arose after Arpaio's investigators realized the birth certificates of twins born the day after Obama, the Nordykes, had been released as white-on-black copies of microfilm to the family by the Hawaii Department of Health in 1966.
WND reported in July 2009 that Mrs. Eleanor Nordyke made public the copies in an article by the Honolulu Advertiser.

WND also has reported that the Obama birth certificate's number appears to be out of sequence with the birth certificates of the Nordyke twins.
The Nordyke twins were born Aug. 5, 1961, one day after Obama, and their birth certificates were registered Aug. 11, 1961, three days later than Obama. Yet their birth certificates have lower numbers.
Susan Nordyke, the twin born first, has certificate number 10637, and her sister Gretchen has certificate number 10638. Obama, born Aug. 4, 1961, and registered Aug. 8, 1961, has certificate number 10641.
"In 1961, Barack Obama was not a celebrity," Corsi commented. "If the Nordyke twins birth certificates were reduced to microfilm or microfiche by 1966, the date Mrs. Nordyke got the copies she made public, then Obama's birth certificate should have been reduced to microfilm or microfiche at the same time."
Corsi also indicated that the Arizona posse has interviewed court-certified forensic examiners who have advised that they can only issue an expert opinion on whether Obama's birth certificate is a forgery if they can examine the original ink-and-paper records.
Corsi told WND the Arpaio investigation is far-reaching in scope.
In addition to examining whether or not the long-form birth certificate is a forgery, the Cold Case Posse is examining evidence that Obama may have a fraudulent Social Security Number. The posse also is looking at records pertaining to Obama's birth narrative that suggest Barack Obama Sr. may not be the biological father.
"In total, the Cold Case Posse has assembled some 2,000 pages of evidence in the case," Corsi explained, "and is now preparing to conduct interviews to examine a wide range of questions, including that Obama may not be qualified to be president under Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution because he was a dual citizen at birth, given that his father was listed as a citizen of Kenya when the future president was born."
Corsi said the Cold Case Posse is currently in the process of briefing various Arizona state officials about the progress of the investigation.
"Sheriff Arpaio said this would be a thorough and diligent investigation," Corsi said, "and that is exactly what the investigation has become. Sheriff Arpaio once again has proven to be a man of his word."

Government Did You Know Feds Will Temporarily Cut Off All TV and Radio Broadcasts on Nov. 9?

If you have ever wondered about the government’s ability to control the civilian airwaves, you will have your answer on November 9th.
On that day, federal authorities are going to shut off all television and radio communications simultaneously at 2:00PM EST to complete the first ever test of the national Emergency Alert System (EAS).


This isn’t a wild conspiracy theory. The upcoming test is posted on the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau website.
Only the President has the authority to activate EAS at the national level, and he has delegated that authority to the Director of FEMA.  The test will be conducted jointly by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through  FEMA, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Weather Service (NWS).
In essence, the authority to seize control of all television and civilian communication has been asserted by the executive branch and handed to a government agency.
The EAS has been around since 1994. Its precursor, the Emergency Broadcast System (EBS), started back in 1963.  Television and radio broadcasters, satellite radio and satellite television providers,  cable television and wireline video providers are all involved in the system.
So this begs the question: is the first ever national EAS test really a big deal?


Probably not. At least, not yet.
But there are some troubling factors all coming together right now that could conceivably trigger a real usage of the EAS system in the not too distant future.  A European financial collapse could bring down U.S. markets. What is now the “Occupy” movement could lead to widespread civil unrest. And there are ominous signs that radical groups such as Anonymous will attempt something major on November 5th- Guy Fawke’s day.
Now we know in the event of a major crisis, the American people will be told with one voice, at the same time, about an emergency.
All thats left to determine is who will have control of the EAS when that day comes, and what their message will be.

Forbes Blames Obama

Steve Forbes: S&P Action Political, 'Outrageous Move'

Publisher Steve Forbes says S&P’s downgrading of U.S. credit was a political and “outrageous move.” However, Forbes said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that, if other credit rating agencies don’t downgrade, the effect of S&P’s action on U.S. stock markets will be minimal.

Appearing on the same show, former economic adviser to President Barack Obama Larry Summers also condemned S&P’s move but blamed the credit rating agency’s rationale behind the downgrading on the House GOP majority.

Forbes said S&P’s action was surprising, in light of the fact that the government can meet its credit obligations.

“I think in a narrow sense it is a political move . . . an outrageous move,” Forbes said. “The government can pay its debts, it is legally obligated to do so, its got the wherewithal to do it. In a larger sense about the economy, I think the U.S. economy is in a perilous state, this recovery has been the worst from a severe recession since the Great Depression.

“But I am surprised S&P would play politics — the U.S. government can pay the interest and principle on the bonds — but in a broader sense we do have severe economic troubles, but we will be able to pay the interest and principle on the bonds,” the one-time GOP presidential hopeful said.

Summers, who also served as Treasury secretary under President Bill Clinton, said S&P’s track record has been “terrible and as we’ve seen this weekend its arithmetic is worse, so there is nothing good to say about what they’ve done.”

“But that’s not the large issue here — the large issue here is that House majority played chicken with America’s credit worthiness and America’s families are now going to be the losers,” said Summers, who also served as an economic adviser to President Barack Obama.

“We’ve got critical economic problems — the critical economic problem of slow growth and lack of jobs, the critical economic problem of a long-run budget situation that needs to be adjusted, and needs to be adjusted in a rational way, and we’ve got to find balanced approaches going forward,” Summers said.

Host Candy Crowley asks if the S&P downgrading was an unjustified move, how could Summers blame the Republicans.

“This happened because S&P was seeing what most Americans are feeling — which is unhappiness with the solutions that are coming out of Congress for critical economic problems,” Summers said. “To say that S&P is suspect, is not in any way to say that all’s well — and the productive thing here is not to bash on S&P . . . the productive thing is to focus on what we can do going forward.”

Forbes disagreed that House Republicans were to blame, saying they were specifically elected to undo the financial damage incurred by the Obama administration.

“What’s holding this economy back is a weak dollar — you never get a strong, sustained recovery with a weak currency — uncertainty about taxes, massive new regulations coming from healthcare, finance,” Forbes said. “The National Labor Relations Board is doing things its never done before — telling companies where they can move and not move — all the regulations are hurting.

“Banks are not lending because of the uncertainty, and that’s why this recovery has been so weak,” he said. “If the administration would changes policies, we would start to see a real recovery.”

Crowley asked Forbes how he thought the markets would react to S&P’s downgrading.

“I think the markets are going to be a little uncertain — the key thing is whether the two other rating agencies are going to follow S&P,” Forbes said. “I don’t think they will — and if they don’t, the reaction is going to be rather minimal.

“It’ll have a slight increase in interest rates, but the key thing on interest rates is the Federal Reserve, which is really punishing savers by its zero interest rate policy . . . the Feds weak dollar policy is the real disaster — we’ll get through the S&P thing,” he said.
