Saudi did Boston Obama is protecting him

“Security related grounds” connected to terrorist activities

This is a breaking news story and will be updated.
UPDATE 10:50am ET: Joel Cheatwood, President & Chief Creative Officer for TheBlaze, told Glenn on the radio show: “Just got a note from one of our investigative reporters that she has been told that there is now discussion that they may not allow this man to be deported.”
On radio this morning, Glenn broke the news that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi Student who was reported as a person of interest in the Boston Marathon bombing, is set to be deported under section 212 3B of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA) – “Security and related grounds” – “Terrorist activities”.
An FBI source has told TheBlaze that the Saudi Student was “taken into custody”. This means, when we he was reported as a person of interest, he was actually a suspect the entire time.
An “event”, or file, was created on the student three days ago. The file contains his deportation record and the reason he is being deported. According to ICE the reason is section 212 3B –”Security and related grounds” – “Terrorist activities”. The student’s visa has been revoked.
The FBI said a file was started “just in case he was found to be connected to the crime,” however, the file shows he was scheduled to be deported. This was not precautionary, it was listed as “orders.” The file was immediately classified. Sources are telling TheBlaze the deportation order will be classified as well – requiring a FOIA to access it.
One agent told TheBlaze he believes a “voluntary” departure has been signed – that means the Saudi student could be out of the country as early as today. While the official story was going to be “he wanted to go home,” the student was actually being deported.
TheBlaze has been told that by a source that this “looks like they were trying to make this a ‘lone wolf’ crime, so the Saudi government would be spared embarrassment and the U.S. would avoid explaining how a terror cell was active when we had AQ on the run.”
One source at the FBI and another at the Saudi Embassy referred to the student as connected to an important Saudi family.
A source told TheBlaze that the FBI believes the Saudi student is tied to 2 to 3 more people.
Steve Emerson from the Investigative Project on Terrorism appeared on “Hannity” last night and revealed more information on the Saudi National.
From TheBlaze:
Appearing on “Hannity” Wednesday night, the Investigative Project on Terrorism’s Steve Emerson reported that Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, the Saudi national who was briefly named a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombings, is being deported on Tuesday. He based his information on a number of his confidential sources.
“I just learned from my own sources that he is now going to be deported on national security grounds next Tuesday,” Emerson said.
Host Sean Hannity referenced a report by Reuters that revealed President Barack Obama met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal at the White House Wednesday. They reportedly discussed the conflict in Syria.
“The meeting was not on Obama’s public schedule,” the report adds.

DHS Informant: We Are Preparing for Massive Civil War

DHS Informant: We Are Preparing for Massive Civil War

Private Investigator Doug Hagmann said reliable sources told him that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was preparing for "massive civil war" in America.
This was all in a radio interview on TruNews from May 2, 2012.
“Folks, we’re getting ready for one massive economic collapse,”
“We have problems . . . The federal government is preparing for civil uprising,” he added, “so every time you hear about troop movements, every time you hear about movements of military equipment, the militarization of the police, the buying of the ammunition, all of this is . . . they (DHS) are preparing for a massive uprising."
“It’s going to get so much worse toward the election, and I’m not even sure we’re going to have an election in this country.  It’s going to be that bad, and this, as well, is coming from my sources.  But one source in particular said, ‘look, you don’t understand how bad it is.’  This stuff is real; these people, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), they are ready to fight the American people.”
“What they [DHS] are expecting, and again, this is according to my sources, what they’re expecting is the un-sustainability of the American dollar,” Hagmann said.  “And we know for a fact that we can no longer service our debt.  There’s going to be a period of hyperinflation . . . the dollar will be worthless . . . The economic collapse will be so severe, people won’t be ready for this.”

The Hunger Games anyone?

Watch this will be on the Tea Party .Org radio show this week.

The Hunger Games anyone? This will be the future for the Citizens. This country we live in is NOT America! This government is not doing this for our safety but to humiliate us, disgrace us, and to cause us so much shame we SUBMIT to their very extreme demands.
I was behind a Congressman and his family in the airport, they showed a card and went through the search without one hand or wand on them. Now tell me why should they be different then me? They are the elite, the Capital and can enjoy a flight without the strip search, the rape, or the freak show citizens who pay their salaries go through on a day to day bases.
It is a time to remove everyone in office and start fresh, We need to remove the TSA since they they are sexual offenders and jail them. The rape of this woman with clothes on is enough and has gone too far with feeling up children (PEDOPHILES), Raping women, Raping men and Raping the elderly, YET they won't touch a MUSLIM! Maybe we should all dress in Muslim clothes when we go into the Airports and take them off the clothes when we pass the TSA Booth.

Video shows agonising TSA pat-down - as woman sobs in 'sexual violation' at hands of TSA agent

By Daily Mail Reporter

A traveller's sobs were left ignored this weekend, as she was subjected to an invasive pat-down despite her cries - in another blow to the TSA.
A video posted to YouTube captures the weeping woman’s ordeal during the security checkpoint at an airport in Madison, Wisconsin.
Jim Hoft, who runs the political blog Gateway Pundit, posted the video on the site, as well as YouTube yesterday.

Mr Hoft wrote: 'This morning at a Midwest airport I witnessed this poor woman suffering through this horrible sexual violation'.
It's the latest in a long line of disturbing behaviour during security checkpoints.

Loud sobs can be heard as the woman, wearing a pink sweater, is patted down by a female TSA agent.
The woman’s hands are shaking as the agent moves her hands down the woman’s legs.

The woman is then left alone, and can be seen hunching over, her arms crossed across her body in humiliation.
In his blog, Hoft raises the notion that the woman may be experiencing a post-traumatic stress episode.
The TSA has come under intense scrutiny for the pat-down and body scanner policy in recent years, especially in the age of YouTube.
Last month, a clip on the video-sharing site showed a terrified eight-year-old boy confined to a wheelchair, trembling with fear as he was subjected to an invasive TSA pat-down.

In February, a mother claimed she was subjected to repeated body scans after being told agency employees that she 'had a cute figure'.
These followed incidents last year, where TSA agents allegedly helped themselves to cake in a flier's bag, and confiscated another's cupcake.
In December, Indiana rapper Freddie Gibbs was flying to a gig in Denver with two large bags of marijuana in his bag.
But instead of confiscating it, the agent who inspected the bag instead left a note saying, 'C'mon son'.
A TSA agent was fired in October after New York writer and lawyer Jill Filipovic found a note in her luggage (which contained a vibrator) that said: 'Get your freak on girl'

Let passengers take KNIVES on planes... it will make air travel safer, says ex-TSA head in plea to stop 'unending nightmare' of airport security

By Daily Mail Reporter

The former head of Transportation Security Administration has said that the country's airport security system is a broken mess making travelling ‘an unending nightmare’ for passengers.
Kip Hawley, who was head of the TSA from 2005-2009, has argued that the system would be more effective if it embraced more risk including allowing passengers to bring almost anything on board including knives, liquids and lighters.
Hawley criticises the current procedure for reducing airport security into an 'Easter-egg hunt' where TSA officers look out for low-risk prohibited items, such as lighters, rather than focusing on disrupting terror plots.
Controversial: The former head of the TSA has argued that passengers should be able to take almost anything onboard including liquids and lighters

In an article for the Wall Street Journal, Hawley argued that the problems stem from the TSA trying to eliminate all risk for every single passenger travelling rather than concentrating on preventing a catastrophic attack.

He suggests that there should be no more banned items aside from weapons capable of fast, multiple killings such as guns, toxins and explosives.
‘It is time to end the TSA's use of well-trained security officers as kindergarten teachers to millions of passengers a day’ he writes in the Wall Street Journal.
‘Worse, banning certain items gives terrorists a complete list of what not to use in their next attack. Lighters are banned? The next attack will use an electric trigger,’ he continues.
Mess: Kip Hawley argued that airport security systems desperately needed changing as the relationship between the public and the TSA has become poisonous
Broken: Kip Hawley argued that airport security systems desperately needed changing as the relationship between the public and the TSA has become poisonous
Airport security, with its lengthy queues and well-known irritations, has to change as the relationship between the public and the TSA is 'too poisonous to be sustained', Hawley argued.
In the newspaper, he lists five ideas for reforming the airport security system which he described as a ‘national embarrassment’ because of its bureaucratic nature and its disconnect from the people it is meant to protect.
As well as reducing the 'banned items', Hawley suggests a solution to allow passengers to take liquids on board.
He proposes two queues at the checkpoint – one for people with no liquids and another for passengers who want to bring all their liquids on board and don’t mind queuing for longer.
He also believes that airlines should eliminate baggage fees for faster and safer security.
Frustrations: Hawley set out five reforms which he believes would make airport security faster and safer - changes involve concentrating on the larger picture of catastrophic attacks rather than finding low-risk banned items

The introduction of fees has led to passengers over-stuffing their carry-on luggage, making it more difficult for TSA officials to determine what is in the bags when they go through the scanners and slowing the whole process down, he writes.
‘Predictability is deadly’, Hawley continues - arguing that security needs to be randomized so that terrorists do not know what to expect making it much harder for them to learn how to evade protocols.
His fifth recommendation is that TSA officers need more flexibility and more discretion to interact with passengers.
'The public wants the airport experience to be predictable, hassle-free and airtight and for it to keep us 100% safe. But 100% safety is unattainable. Embracing a bit of risk could reduce the hassle of today's airport experience while making us safer at the same time,' Hawley argues.

A baggage handler has been charged with theft by a public servant after he stole tablet computers from the luggage he was tasked with checking for security threats.
Clayton Keith Dovel, 36, of Bedford, Texas, was busted in February after he was found to have eight iPads believed to have been stolen from passengers.
Police said Dovel worked in a 'resolution room' at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, where checked bags are examined before they're placed on a flight.

He was suspended from his position as a TSA agent.
Borna Mojra, one of the iPad theft victims, said the crime is a breach of the public trust.
He told KXAS: 'If they’re the guys who are protecting us and they're not, who am I going to trust next?'

Police were reportedly led right to Dovel’s home in Bedford by one of the theft victims, who was able to track his stolen device.

The TSA said in a statement: 'The unacceptable behavior of this individual in no way reflects the dedication of our nearly 50,000 transportation security officers who work tirelessly to keep our skies safe.'
Dovel's arrest came just days after eight TSA agents were suspended for misconduct at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey.
Hidden CCTV cameras allegedly caught staff at Terminal B - which handles Delta, British Airways and Virgin - sleeping on the job.
Some of them also face possible dismissal for stealing items out of some of the bags they are paid to inspect.
If convicted, Dovel could face between two and 10 years in prison. He has been released on $5,000 bail.

URGENT: A 25-year-old man described as an Islamic extremist was arrested in an alleged plot to attack crowded areas in the Tampa, Fla., area with a car bomb, assault rifle and other explosives, authorities said Monday.
The U.S. Department of Justice said Sami Osmakac, a naturalized U.S. citizen who was born in the former Yugoslavia, was arrested Saturday night.
Osmakac, from Pinellas County, allegedly told an undercover agent that "We all have to die, so why not die the Islamic way?'" according to a federal complaint.
FBI agents arrested Osmakac on Saturday after he allegedly bought explosive devices and firearms from an undercover agent. The firearms and explosives were rendered inoperable by law enforcement. The federal complaint says that shortly before his arrest, Osmakac made a video of himself explaining his motives for carrying out the planned violent attack.
He has been charged with one count of attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction. His first appearance in federal court is scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m. ET.
Sources close to the investigation told Fox News that Osmakac was being "closely monitored by law enforcement" for months in what authorities have described as a "sting operation."
Federal officials said a confidential source told them in Sept. 2011 that Osmakac wanted Al Qaeda flags. Two months later, the federal complaint said, Osmakac and the confidential source "discussed and identified potential targets in Tampa" that Osmakac wanted to attack.
Osmakac allegedly asked the source for help getting the firearms and explosives for the attacks, and the source put him in touch with an undercover FBI employee.
On Dec. 21, Osmakac met with the undercover agent and allegedly told the agent that he wanted to buy an AK-47-style machine gun, Uzi submachine guns, high capacity magazines, grenades and explosive belt. During a later meeting, Osmakac gave the agent a $500 down payment for the items.
"According to the complaint, Osmakac also asked the undercover employee whether he/she could build bombs that could be placed in three different vehicles and detonated remotely, near where Osmakac would conduct a follow-up attack using the other weapons he requested," a press release from the Department of Justice said. "The undercover employee said he/she could possibly provide explosives for one vehicle. Osmakac also allegedly said that he wanted an explosive belt constructed to kill people."
On Jan. 1, Osmakac told the agent that he wanted to bomb night clubs, the Operations Center of the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and a business in Tampa, Florida.
Osmakac told the undercover FBI agent that he wanted to detonate a car bomb and use the explosive belt to "get in somewhere where there's a lot of people" and take hostages.
He also allegedly told the agent that "Once I have this…they can take me in five million pieces," in an apparent reference to a suicide blast. During that meeting, the agent told Osmakac he could always change his mind about his plot.
Osmakac had created a "martyrdom video" and tried on a bomb belt before being arrested Saturday, law enforcement officials told Fox News.

No joke! ATF bans scrub-pad stockpiles

Feds warns kitchen staple considered part of 'silencer'

"Put down the Chore Boy and back away from the weaponry!"
It's an order that actually could be heard, given that a letter has surfaced from the federal government warning against consumers stockpiling Chore Boy household scrubbers because they can be considered a component of a gun silencer and, therefore, regulated by federal gun laws.
The letter is from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the ATF. It was obtained by David Codrea, who publishes online as the Gun Rights Examiner.
And it comes from a federal agency that earlier determined a 14-inch-long piece of shoestring must be regulated under federal gun laws and restrictions because it is a "machinegun."
Finally ... self defense for the rest of us. Here are the resources you need to protect your life, your family and your property
The latest unusual determination from the agency is found in a letter submitted to the agency on behalf of a client. The letter is dated Nov. 26, 2010, and Codrea said it was obtained recently.
In it, an attorney was asking about a repair that a client wished to make on an already-registered silencer for a .22 caliber rifle.
"Does sound/gas absorbing materials manufactured from Chore Boy copper clean pads, along with fiberglass insulation, constitute a silencer part as defined in 18 U.S.C 921(a)(24)?" he asked.

"Yes," confirmed the letter signed by John R. Spencer, the chief of the Firearms Technology Branch. "Gas/sound-absorbing material is the same as a baffle in that it is designed to reduce/trap hot gases within the expansion tube to allow cooling before they are released from the silencer, subsequently reducing sound."
Spencer, responding to a question about whether such material which becomes worn in a silencer could be replaced, said it would be a violation of federal law.
"Replacement of any component part or parts of a registered silencer, other than a silencer wipe, would be a violation of the NFA if performed by a non-licensed manufacturer," the letter said.
The correct procedure would be for the owner of the registered silencer to submit an application to the ATF and pay a $200 tax, the letter said.
"Further, he would have to submit a 'no-marking' variance to FTB since there is no viable area in which to apply a serial number to the sound-absorbing material," Spencer wrote.
He also noted that it would not be lawful for the owner of the registered silencer to "have a stockpile of sound-absorbing materials for his own use in replacing deteriorated sound-absorbing material."
Here's Page 1 of the letter, which is available online:

Codrea pointed out that not even two years ago, ATF seized toy guns designed to shoot plastic BBs and said it would take only a "quick retooling" to make them fire live ammunition.
The "retooling" would involve replacing the barrel, bolt, upper and lower receivers and trigger assembly, he said.
Here's the letter, from 2004, describing the string as a "machinegun:"

The letter from Sterling Nixon, then-chief of the branch, said any part designed and intended for use in converting a weapon into a machinegun is a machinegun.
"The FTB examined and classified a 14-inch long shoestring with a loop at each end. The string was attached to the cocking handle of a semiautomatic rifle and was looped around the trigger and attached to the shooter's finger. The device caused the weapon to fire repeatedly until finger pressure was released from the string. Because this item was designed and intended to convert a semiautomatic rifle into a machingun, FTB determined that it was a machinegun as defined in 26 U.S.C. 5845(b)."
Everything you'll ever need to know about gun is here, in the "FIREARMS MULTIMEDIA GUIDE"
Codrea said the Chore Boy letter just became available to him, and he blacked out the name of the attorney to keep identities confidential.
The ATF declined a request from WND to comment on the letter.
Codrea told WND that the government's responses to the questions were "ridiculous."
"They have created a condition where a Chore Boy pad can be considered a silencer," he said.
The agency also has classified the M1 Garand, a rifle used by the U.S. military for two decades and issued to thousands of soldiers and Marines during World War II and Korea, as a "threat to public safety in the U.S."
States already have begun rebelling against federal rules for guns, with eight formally adopting laws that exempt guns made, sold and kept within the states from federal regulations.
A court case over that law is in the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

There is a terror trial going on in Boston, Tarek Mehanna

http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?llr=4a6m4tcab&et=1108635988062&s=8802&e=001WFRdOZAV7K0AlJLpwsRt04z5O7WUk3bmY26R6H9YvKcTz2dSouPCGj_CMDXztU9j38GxSxNKuZ4yqIYPta4vJ1QZNH0OIjS19yuaJ0S-K1NaKz2BShZ__pzRgDPkyVHG
Dear Leah,

There is a terror trial going on in Boston. Tarek Mehanna, a Sudbury resident, was accused by the FBI of plotting to machine gun shoppers in the Emerald Square Mall in Attleboro and of giving material aid to Al Qaeda.

A "Free Tarek" support group is headed by a Boston Islamic leader and holds rallies in area mosques including of course the Roxbury mega-mosque....

I debated Harvey Silverglate, a prominent civil rights lawyer on the Emily Rooney TV show (click on this link http://bit.ly/uT5ffc to watch the show) and have written an op ed. (See Below)

Also, you should know that APT demonstrated outside the courthouse in support of the prosecutor and the FBI and in opposition to the supporters of Mehanna.

ja logoTerror - and civil society - on trial in Boston

By Charles Jacobs

Tarek Mehanna, a young Muslim student, son of an Egyptian immigrant, was arrested two years ago at his home in Sudbury; accused by the FBI of plotting a Mumbai like machine gun massacre of New England shoppers in Attleboro's Emerald Square Mall - and for giving material support to Al Qaeda in Iraq. His trial began on Oct. 24.

Prosecution documents tell of Mehanna's attempt to seek terrorist training in Yemen and Pakistan. They describe the pleasure he and his friends took in watching videos of Americans being beheaded and of American soldiers killed and mutilated in Iraq. Watching a scene of an American soldier whose chest was ripped open and whose innards then set ablaze with gasoline, Mehanna called it "a Texas barbeque." When asked by a fellow extremist if the soldiers should not have received some sort of trial, Mehanna said no, "BBQ sauce is the way to go." Mehanna and his friends talked online about how his own translations of Al-Qaeda recruitment literature into English made him part of "the media wing of Al Qaeda." In these same conversations, monitored by the FBI, he has said that he "looks to Osama Bin Laden as his real father" and "loves him," and that he wasn't sorry for the victims of 9/11; he was just sorry "for the buildings."

An upper middle class fellow with an advantaged background hates his neighbors and his country? Aren't we told that poverty produces radicals?

Despite all this, the very people who have been telling us for years that they are true moderates have developed a Free Tarek Mehanna (FTM) Committee, which describes Mehanna in a petition as "a person with strong ethical values" who is "intelligent, charismatic, influential and trusted by many in the local Islamic community." A role model.

The group has been aggressively politicizing the judicial proceedings against Mehanna. Its spokesmen accuse the FBI of a national effort to harm the entire American Muslim community. FTM has targeted individual prosecutors and harassed the US Attorney's office with repeated phone calls and sit-ins. It labels anyone who dares to raise concerns about radical Islam as bigots and Islamophobes.

On Sept. 24, the leadership of the Islamic Society of Boston mosque in Roxbury organized an event there that featured pleas for support by Mehanna's brother and by the families of three convicted terrorists from Georgia, North Carolina and New York (Ehsanul Sadequee, Ziyad Yaghi and Syed Fahad Hashmi, respectively). Speakers claimed their communities were "suffering under the war on terror," which they called a US government plot against Muslims.

Whether Tarek Mehanna violated the law is an issue that should be left up to the courts - without mob pressures.

But what everyone in Boston should be concerned with is that Boston's Muslim leadership, under the guise of protecting free speech, is celebrating a man who sees himself as a hateful enemy of our society and was prepared - says the FBI - to kill his fellow New Englanders.

One of the leaders of FTM is Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, president of the umbrella organization of all the mosques in New England (Islamic Council of N.E.) and the Muslim chaplain at Northeastern University. Imam Faaruuq caused a stir when, in response to Mehanna's arrest, he encouraged Boston Muslims to "pick up the gun and the sword, don't be afraid to go out there and do your job." Faaruuq, by the way, is a man who has been embraced by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick. While my organization has made both Patrick and the Northeastern administration aware of Faaruuq's activities, both have refused to repudiate him. There's a money angle as well: Northeastern student activity fees paid for a Support Mehanna event on campus in April. Last year, Faaruuq gave the Patrick administration $50,000 for "Muslim sensitivity training" for police.

In supporting an anti-American Islamist radical, Boston's Muslim leadership is promoting a sort of tribalism, which sees all Muslims as "our brothers and sisters" who must be defended regardless of their actions. Rather than shunning indecent behavior found among fringe people in their own groups, as all decent Americans have learned to do, they are teaching their children to embrace people who want to kill their neighbors. This can only encourage future acts of hatred and terror.

Truly moderate Muslim leaders would want a fair trial for Tarek Mehanna, but would strongly condemn his hateful beliefs and might even undertake to investigate how these awful thoughts and radical ideology penetrated their community. We can only hope such voices emerge.

It's disheartening to watch privileged children of Muslim immigrants who have benefited so generously from America turn toward hatred while their communal leaders exploit America's tolerance to promote and lionize an indecent young man who is also an accused terrorist. In my view, the most disturbing facet of this story is the utter failure of Massachusetts media and political leadership to honestly deal with the growing radicalization of young Muslims.

I hope that Massachusetts' civic and political leadership will summon the courage to ensure that justice is served and Mehanna's trial proceeds without political interference or mob pressure.

The foiled Iranian plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador in Washington D.C. crosses a "very dangerous threshold," says House Intelligence Committee chairman Rep. Mike Rogers — one that demands an unprecedented level of action from the Obama administration to stop the rising Islamist power.

“The longer we put off an aggressive international approach to this, the worse off we are all going to be,” said the six-term Michigan Republican in an exclusive Newsmax.TV interview.

“Imagine a nation state that’s engaged in trying to kill U.S. soldiers and coalition forces in Iraq; that is plotting to kill an ambassador, the Saudi Ambassador to the United States, here in Washington D.C.; oh, and by the way, they’re going to get nuclear weapons.”

President Obama also will have to make the case to the world for action against Iran, and that will mean pressuring China and Russia to fall in line. The two UN Security Council permanent members need to be told they have to stand with the rest of the world in opposition to the Tehran government, Rogers said.

“It is important for us, us, as the international community, to band together and say, ‘Hey, wait a minute, you have to make a choice here, you have to be for them and for a state sponsor of terrorism, or you are going to be with the rest of the international community. This is your chance.’

“I’m not pollyannaish enough to believe they are all of a sudden going to change their minds but we need to make them very uncomfortable,” he added.

Rogers was speaking just as Obama told reporters that Iranian involvement in the thwarted plot was “part of a pattern of dangerous and reckless behavior."

“What you're going to see is folks throughout the Middle East region questioning their ability to work effectively with Iran," added the president.

Rogers said he agrees with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Iran is about two years away from getting a nuclear weapon, and that must be stopped at all costs. He believes that the reason the plot targeted Saudi ambassador Adel al-Jubeir was due to Riyadh’s strong position opposing a nuclear Iran.

“They have been aggressive about saying that it is really dangerous if Iran gets a nuclear weapon,” said Rogers. “It’s destabilizing to the whole region and it unleashes the hordes of their intelligence service to do really bad things.”

The plot to kill al-Jubeir by blowing up a Washington restaurant as he ate was revealed by Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday. Rogers, Obama and other leaders had known about it since being briefed in June. Two Iranians have been charged in connection with the plot, one is in custody and the other is still on the run.

Iran has denied any link to the plot, but Rogers was adamant that the plot was real and that senior officials in the Iranian government were behind it.

“Evidence is evidence,” he said. “I’m a former FBI agent and I can tell you, I’ve looked at the case, I’ve looked at the evidence, I was briefed when this thing started to unfold months ago and they have nowhere to go.

“The evidence in this case is incredibly strong and that’s why you see such a widespread agreement of Republicans and Democrats and senior intelligence officials and DOJ officials. Yes this happened. Yes, it was tied to Iran. Yes, this crossed a very dangerous threshold.”

Rogers said Manssor Arbabsiar, the man who is in custody, is cooperating and has admitted to ties to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Quds force and to the very top in Tehran.

“This was an operation that would have cost $1.5 million, so you know someone senior in there has already been involved,” he said. “You know that the Quds force has a direct command relationship (with) the Supreme Leader.”

He said that because of the brazenness of the assassination plot it is safe to assume that it is not the first time – nor will it be the last – that Quds operatives have killed their enemies.

”It’s important to know the Quds force has been up to no good and dangerous activities for years, and went relatively unmolested by the rest of the world, unchallenged by the rest of the world. This is what led to this very brazen activity and, one could extrapolate, there is likely to be other plans… in the works.”

He said Quds operatives have been operating with impunity in both Iraq and Afghanistan in killing American and coalition soldiers.

Now, he said, it is time to “ratchet up” sanctions on Iran. “It would be a serious mistake if they didn’t feel some pain as a result of what was a very aggressive operation to commit an act of violence for political gain in the United States.”

But he said he does not agree with House Homeland Security Committee chairman Rep. Peter King of New York, who has called on Obama to expel all Iranian diplomats from the United States. “We don’t have a formal diplomatic relationship as it stands, there’s a consulate up in New York that we do some dealings with,” he pointed out.

“I always believe that even in a time of extreme tension, you need at least somebody to talk to, to either de-escalate or make an agreement about why they ought to change their ways. So I would be a little careful about going there.

“But that doesn’t mean we should not be incredibly aggressive about targeting Quds force people in Iraq and Afghanistan, and about making sure that the Quds force operatives, wherever they are in the world, are going to have difficulty operating, and that we continue to put pressure on Iran.”

Newly resurfaced photographs show President Obama appearing and marching with members of the New Black Panther Party as he campaigned for president in Selma, Ala., in March 2007.
BigGovernment.com posted the photographs, reporting the images were captured from a Flickr photo-sharing account before they were scrubbed.
The photos are reportedly featured in a book set to be released tomorrow by J. Christian Adams, the Department of Justice whistleblower in the New Black Panther Party, or NBPP, voter intimidation case.
The book is titled "Injustice: Exposing the Racial Agenda of the Obama Justice Department."
Among the people visible in the pictures with Obama is NBPP Chairman Malik Zulu Shabazz, a defendant in the voter intimidation case that Attorney General Eric Holder dismissed in 2009.
Is it any wonder the White House wouldn't prosecute the New Black Panthers? Read the newest Whistleblower issue, OBAMA'S DEPARTMENT OF INJUSTICE, and discover the depths of Washington corruption!
Also present was the Panthers' "Minister of War," Najee Muhammed.

While the photos present new evidence of a possible relationship between Obama and the controversial black extremist group, WND was first to report in March 2008 that Obama met Shabazz.

Speaking to WND, Shabazz boasted he met Obama when the politician attended the 42nd anniversary of the voting rights marches in Selma in 2007.
"I have nothing but respect for Obama and for his pastor," said Shabazz, referring to Jeremiah Wright, Obama's former pastor of nearly 20 years.
Shabazz said in 2008 that aside from promoting black rights, he also supports Obama because he may take what he called a "less-biased" policy on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
"I have hopes he will change the U.S. government's position toward the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, because our position has been unwarranted bias. Time and time again the U.S. vetoed resolutions in the U.N. Security Council condemning [Israeli] human rights violation. ... I hope he shifts policy," Shabazz said.
But the extremist added he doesn't believe Obama could change America's policy regarding Israel very much, since, he said, "other, powerful lobbies" control U.S. foreign policy.
The NBPP is a controversial black extremist party whose leaders are notorious for their racist statements and for leading anti-white activism.
Shabazz himself has given scores of speeches condemning "white men" and Jews.
The NBPP's official platform states "white man has kept us deaf, dumb and blind," refers to the "white racist government of America," demands black people be exempt from military service and uses the word Jew repeatedly in quotation marks.
Shabazz has led racially divisive protests and conferences, such as the 1998 Million Youth March in which a few thousand Harlem youths reportedly were called upon to scuffle with police officers and speakers demanded the extermination of whites in South Africa.

Malik Zulu Shabazz

The NBPP chairman was quoted at a May 2007 protest against the 400-year celebration of the settlement of Jamestown, Va., stating, "When the white man came here, you should have left him to die."
He claimed Jews engaged in an "African holocaust," and he has promoted the anti-Semitic urban legend that 4,000 Israelis fled the World Trade Center just prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
When Shabazz was denied entry to Canada in 2008 while trying to speak at a black-activist event, he blamed Jewish groups and claimed Canada "is run from Israel."
Canadian officials justified the action stating he has an "anti-Semitic" and "anti-police" record, but some reports pointed to what was termed a minor criminal history for the decision to deny him entry.
He similarly blamed Jews for then-New York Mayor Rudi Giuliani's initial decision, later rescinded, against granting a permit for the Million Youth March.
The NBPP's deceased chairman, Khallid Abdul Muhammad, a former Nation of Islam leader who was once considered Louis Farrakhan's most trusted adviser, gave speeches referring to the "white man" as the "devil" and claiming that "there is a little bit of Hitler in all white people."
In a 1993 speech condemned by the U.S. Congress and Senate, Muhammad, lionized on the NBPP site, referred to Jews as "bloodsuckers," labeled the pope a "no-good cracker" and advocated the murder of white South Africans who would not leave the nation subsequent to a 24-hour warning.
All NBPP members must memorize the group's rules, such as that no party member "can have a weapon in his possession while drunk or loaded off narcotics or weed," and no member "will commit any crimes against other party members or black people at all."

Lieberman: Obama's concern with offending Muslims is hurting the war effort

Lieberman: Obama's concern with offending Muslims is hurting the war effort

By Jordy Yager - 09/01/11 02:03 PM ET
The Obama administration’s fear of offending Muslims will hurt the U.S. war against terrorism, Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Thursday in a speech blasting the president’s new counterterrorism strategy.

Lieberman said that Obama’s strategy, which was released in June, “was ultimately a big disappointment,” and while it successfully identified the core of the domestic radicalization problem, it did not establish a clear plan of attack to deal with the growing issue.

The four-term senator and one-time presidential candidate said one of the key problems with the Obama administration’s strategy was that it continues to call terrorism that aims to harm the U.S., “violent extremism” instead of “violent Islamist extremism.”

“The administration still refuses to call our enemy in this war by its proper name: violent Islamist extremism,” Lieberman said, speaking at a National Press Club event hosted by the National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).

“To call our enemy ‘violent extremism’ is so general and vague that it ultimately has no meaning. The other term used sometimes is Al Qaeda and its allies. Now that’s better but it is still too narrow and focuses us on groups as opposed to what I would call an ideology, which is what we’re really fighting.”

Lieberman, who as chairman of the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee has held numerous hearings on the issue of Islamic extremism, said that Obama needs to stop being afraid of offending the overwhelmingly large portion of law-abiding and well-intentioned Muslims with his rhetoric.

“I assume the refusal of the administration to speak honestly about the enemy is based on its desire not to do anything that might feed into al Qaeda’s propaganda that we’re engaged in a cold war against Islam,” he said. “But that is so self-evidently a lie that we can and have refuted it and I think we’ve done so effectively.”

The issue of singling out Muslims in the U.S.’s war against terrorists came to a head earlier this year when Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) held the first in his series of hearings on American-Muslim radicalization.

Nearly 100 Democratic lawmakers wrote to King, who is the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, and asked him to expand the scope of the hearing to include other radical extremists groups, such as white supremacists, environmental extremists, and animal-rights activists. King declined to expand the hearing’s scope and heralded it as a success for drawing attention to an issue that lawmakers and government officials avoid too often.

Lieberman referenced these sentiments on Thursday, saying that though they are extremist groups, they do not constitute the threat the U.S. currently faces.

“We’re not in a global war with those [groups],” he said. “We’re in a global war that affects our homeland security with Islamist extremists.”

The U.S.’s successful war against terrorists depends on the administration’s ability to correctly identify who its enemy is, Lieberman said.

“To win this struggle, it’s vital that we understand that we’re not just fighting an organization al Qaeda,” he said. “We are up against a broader ideology, if you will, a politicized theology, quite separate from the religion of Islam, that has fueled this war.

“Success in the war will come consequently not when a single terrorist group or its affiliates are eliminated but when the broader sets of ideas that are associated with it are rejected and discarded. A reluctance therefore to identify our enemy as violent Islamist extremism makes it harder I think to mobilize effectively to fight this war of ideas,” Lieberman said.
