Polarik's "Breaking" News is Broken

Well, Polarik's back. And rather than just claiming that Obama is the love child of Malcolm X and a Lebanese woman, or pretending that every childhood photo of Obama was faked in Photoshop, now he's spinning a tale that puts himself directly in the story.

The last time I posted about Polarik here (outside of a passing mention in a footnote in "Secret Origin, Part 2") was over a year ago, when he claimed PolitiFact invented a rumor about Obama's middle name. Now he's again trying to shift responsibility for something Birther-related, with a YouTube video and a WorldNetDaily article that claim the White House website linked to a fake Certification of Live Birth that Polarik created on his computer.

This is his claim, as expressed at YouTube:

On April 27, 2011. Obama and his White House held a press conference in which they gave reporters a copy of his "long-form" birth certificate and a copy of his "short-form" birth certificate." That copy, now posted on WHITEHOUSE.GOV, came from the image I created and stored in my Photobucket account - they did not make a copy of his short-form because there is no short-form (the COLB).

Ron's 'evidence' for this is essentially two-fold:

1) The White House blog linked to a black-and-white PDF scan of Obama's COLB that indicates that it was printed off the Snopes website, as it has a Snopes URL at the bottom.

2) An article on the Snopes website used to link to a COLB image in Polarik's Photobucket account.

He goes on at length (as he is wont to do), but that's the core of his claim. The only problem is that even given that both of the above are true, that still doesn't support his conclusion that the White House published and/or circulated an imitation document he'd created.

The White House printed off an image that was ON the Snopes server. The Snopes article linked to a Polarik image that was NOT on the Snopes server, but was rather on Photobucket's. The only way the White House published Polarik's image was if Snopes uploaded Polarik's image to its own server and published it at this address.

And Polarik provides absolutely zero evidence to support that conclusion. Rather, much of his argument contradicts it. He shares some charts showing pageviews of his Photobucket account that came from Snopes. But if web surfers are arriving at his account, then they're not looking at an image uploaded to Snopes' server.

After Polarik went public with this claim, several holes were pointed out in his story. The Snopes image has file info that says it was last modified "Saturday, November 15, 2008 3:19:50 PM." Polarik's fake COLB has file info that says it was last modified "Saturday, March 12, 2011 7:48:46 AM." Furthermore, the White House's image is clearly not Polarik's fake; there's a telltale uneven line of text at the bottom that clearly distinguishes the two. All too quickly, Ron's story was falling apart.

Now if I may interrupt my own narrative for a moment, let's go back a year, to June 2010. Polarik posts his own thread at FreeRepublic entitled "**Obama Bombshell** Blue Hawaii: Health Department falsified Obama's birth records!" In it, he wrote:

Sometime between October 31, 2008, and July 27, 2009, the dates of Health Director Chiyome Fukino's two press releases, Hawaii amended Obama's birth record. A brand-new Certificate of Live Birth (not Certification of Live Birth) was issued to him...

Not only did Obama get a new birth certificate, the certificate itself was designed with him in mind as Rev. 10/08 - coincidentally, the date of Fukino's first press release (10/31/08). Hawaii  ditched the old Certification of Live Birth and switched to a hybrid form called a “Certificate of Live Birth” - formerly the name of the long-form birth certificate.

When Freepers realized that Polarik wasn't being quite honest with them, he did an about-turn and posted a disclaimer, where he said that he'd posted his fake image to test people to see if they could spot it.

Okay, that aside was to provide some context for how Polarik answered his current detractors. He updated his YouTube description so that it now says:

[ **UPDATE** Last year, I made a 2nd forgery with an obvious flaw in it (a tilted line) to see if people would notice it. They didn't. People are only seeing it now because the White House posted a black & white outline of my prior image (which does not have the flaw).

That outline was made from my image shown in the video, but I left the link alone so that viewers can see the flawed forgery that so many have called a genuine copy of Obama's birth certificate.

You see? Sure, it looks like he was lying, but really he was just using a fake image to test people. Again.

He also added a single word to his original video description, to suit his new and improved story (addition emphasized):

That copy, now posted on WHITEHOUSE.GOV, came from the prior image I created and stored in my Photobucket account

New story, new details.

Not that the new narrative makes a lick of sense. In attempting to incorporate various inconvenient facts, Polarik has ended up making the following claim:

That Polarik created a fake COLB and posted it to his Photobucket account. That Snopes downloaded it and uploaded it to their server. That as a 'test', Polarik replaced his original fake with a crappier fake that had a tilted line. And that the White House printed out the original fake from Snopes and gave it to the press.

So now we have TWO Polarik-created fakes, one which has a tilted line and one which he says exists but hasn't shown. Plus an inexplicable scheme to switch out a really good fake for a not-so-good fake to see if people noticed. And a claim that the White House published a fake he created, but not the same fake he originally claimed they published a few days ago.

Still, even as silly as that sounds, is it believable? No. In trying to salvage his story, he simply made it worse.

For starters, one can view Polarik's Photobucket RSS feed to see when images were uploaded. "BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg" was indeed uploaded on March 12, 2011. Rather curiously, images called "Barack Obama's birth certificate (Factcheck copy)" and "Barack Obama's birth certificate (Fight The Smears copy)" were also uploaded the day before on March 11...and they're the same fakes with the tilted line. 'Test' or not, he was certainly out to lie to people about what his uploads represented.

This upload date demonstrates one of the problems with Polarik's new timeline. He uploaded the tilted line fake on March 12, but the White House printout was made on April 25, 2011. Yet the White House image is clearly not the March 12 fake. In fact, Polarik's version 2.0 story is maddeningly irrational; if Snopes had already linked to a fake he created, then why replace it with a more obvious fake? And why, when you go public, do you only brag about Snopes linking to the obvious fake, and not mention the 'prior image' at all until you revise your story?

The feed doesn't show when the original "BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg" was uploaded to Polarik's Photobucket account, but there was indeed a prior image at that URL. However, it wasn't a fake; it was the real thing. Israel Insider linked to it way back on June 24, 2008. Polarik certainly hadn't created a polished fake within two weeks of the original release of the COLB. He simply uploaded the real image, using the same filename that the DailyKos had used. Then in March 2011, for some reason, he replaced it with an imitation.

In browsing my computer files, I found something of note:

See there? "BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg," which I saved July 20, 2009. Followed by several other Polarik-created COLB files which I saved contemporaneously while I was writing about Polarik. And what does BO_Birth_Certificate.jpg look like?

Yep. It's just the plain ol' real COLB. If you open it in a separate window from the tilted line fake, you can see the differences for yourself. This isn't merely a shifting of a line; the entire rattan background changes, as does the border.

So, long story short, what do we have here? Snopes may have linked to a once-legitimate image URL on Polarik's Photobucket account, which Polarik originally uploaded in June 2008 but surreptitiously swapped out for an imitation image in March 2011. (This is a reminder of the risks of hotlinking to outside sites.) The White House printed out a legitimate image that was saved to the Snopes server, said image having nothing at all to do with Polarik's March 2011 fake. There's no evidence whatsoever of Polarik's 'prior' fake that was first mentioned in his revised story. Polarik's first attempt at his story may have gotten published at WND, but its faults caused him to revise it, but the narrative still crumbles under basic scrutiny.

Blink is currently on show at a gallery called Q Contemporary in Beirut, which, its website boasts, features ‘visceral, bold, cheeky and original’ insulting and divisive works of art.
 The artists explain that after the attacks on the World Trade Center by Islamic extremists, many Muslims undertook a great deal of soul searching, because they felt their religion had been hijacked for a purpose they disagreed with.

Blink, they say, aims to promote greater understanding of Islam and to change the negative view of it that many in the West, following 9/11, now have. (Oh, it will change it all right, it will make it more negative than ever before)

Ms Farsi trained at Tufts University in Massachusetts in the U.S. and at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. Mr Hafez, meanwhile, studied business in the 1990s in the U.S., but turned his hand to conceptual art after 2006. (So what do they do? I am also not the only Muslim on the White House advisory Council on Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships. I join Dr. Eboo Patel* as the second Muslim on the council. I am, however, the first Muslim woman in this council. I feel very honored for the privilege to serve in this way, but also recognize the responsibility that I've agreed to take on. I see my role much more in terms of what needs to get done rather than a historical accomplishment. I believe the accomplishments are yet to be fulfilled

I am a member of a 25-person advisory council * to the White House focused on offering solutions for societal problems sourced in the wisdom of faith communities. More specifically, I am on the Inter-religious Dialogue and Cooperation Task Force, a group of only 5. We will work on recommendations for our area of focus and these will be reviewed by the larger council and then included in an annual report with recommendations from the council to the President

I would not say I am an advisor on Islam. I would say that it is my role to convey the facts about what Muslims think and feel. I see my role as offering the voices of the silenced majority of Muslims in America and around the world to the council so that our deliberations are informed by their ideas and wisdom. I believe that I was chosen because the administration cares about what Muslims think and wants to listen.

- What kind of advise would you be giving Obama to improve relations with US Muslims and the Muslim world?


I would advise him to listen first and foremost. Many have claimed that terrorists have 'hijacked Islam'. I disagree. I think Islam is safe and thriving in the lives of Muslims around the world. What the terrorists have been allowed to take over are Muslim grievances. Muslim concerns over injustice have been largely dismissed by the previous administration leaving a vacuum exploited by extremists. This is a dangerous reality for all of us. Instead, the US must hear mainstream Muslim concerns even if America does not agree with their perceptions. These issues can no longer be ignored or left and the extremists to monopolize.

- What areas of domestic and foreign policies you think the administration should be introducing change in?


I would endorse the action plan outlined in the report "Changing Course" which recommends four areas of action: Respect, Reform (political and economic) and Resolution of conflict. When it comes to the US, I would recommend that a senior member of the administration go on a "listening tour" of the US and hear what Muslim Americans are concerned over. Like all Americans, they are worried about the economic crisis, their financial future and jobs. And like many other US citizens, Muslim Americans are also worried about racial profiling, discriminatory immigration policy and the erosion of civil liberties.

What do you think of the rising Islamphobia in America?


Islamphobia in America is very real. Gallup finds that Muslims are among the most unfavorably viewed groups in the US and only a little over a third of Americans say they have no prejudice against Muslims. This presents a grave danger to America as a whole*. The disease of racism, by definition, is a bias in judgment. This means that racism clouds sound judgment and leads people to make irrational decisions. It also divides a nation and prevents the full utilization of its intellectual and cultural resources. Racism is wasteful. Racism is a strategic disadvantage. I am very proud of the progress America has made in fighting this problem as it relates to the relationship between blacks and whites. In 1956 only 4% of Americans approved of a marriage between whites and blacks. The marriage that produced our president was illegal in Virginia when he was born. Today 80% of Americans approve of marriage between blacks and whites. Last year, Barack Obama became the first Democratic Presidential candidate in decades to carry Virginia. We are a stronger and smarter nation because of this growth. Our next growth spurt will be in ridding our society of anti-Muslim prejudice

- Tell us about your own journey of success as an American Muslim woman, with hijab. What challenges have you faced along the way?



I have been tremendously blessed, Alhamdulillah. I feel that mine is a uniquely American story. I grew up in an educated middle class home, but with no special connections or privilege. By excelling in school, I was able to attend a top university and helped pay my way by working during the summer as an engineering intern. My summer job was at a paper factory in a small Wisconsin town. I was only 19 years old. Managing technicians often reminded me that they've been working on the machine longer than I've been on Earth. Many also told me that I was the first Muslim they'd ever met. Very few women worked in the factory, so I was already a minority just as a female, but I was also the only hijab-wearing woman in the entire town and the only Muslim in the factory. All of this of course presented a challenge, but one that taught me a great deal. Once people got to know me I became a professional to them, not a woman in hijab. I took this experience with me to my permanent job after college and to my graduate work. These situations taught me that living according to your conscience was more important than comfortably conforming to your surroundings. I think this simple lesson of life is one that has helped me succeed and given me the courage to face the most difficult and daunting situations.

Muhammad: A Bad Atheist

Muhammad was Atheist! Don’t get shocked! Muhammad was not only an Atheist, but also a bad one. Generally, atheists are good people, who fundamentally believe in equality and liberty for all human beings. They are certainly better than all brands of divisive Theists. But we are also humans, born with the capability of doing good as well as bad, irrespective of whether we are Theists or Atheists. And Muhammad was one of the worst cases among Atheists.

Muhammad case was unique. His ultimate goal was to rule the Arab Peninsula, behind a religious mask, which he did achieve successfully.

He protested against the centuries-old belief of his forefathers. He abused and broke the idols of the Gods, he used to worship in his pre-Islamic Pagan days. Just to condemn and subsequently annihilate the Jews of Medina, he perverted the Jewish doctrine of monotheism by fabricating the story about Azra or Uzair as the son of God (absent in Jewish scripture). He denied the crucifixion of Jesus, the central pillar of Christianity. He condemned the sacred scriptures of the Jews and Christians as fabrications and perversions by them.

Atheists believe in truth, not in in-vogue myths and blind beliefs, and they call for critical inquiry to unravel the mystery of the world as a way of enlightening and freeing ignorant masses from superstitious believes. Whereas Muhammad, instead of enlightening the ignorant masses, created his own cult with a religious mask mixing old myths, superstitions and beliefs. He needed a God to proceed with. Uncreative as he was, he stole the name of one of the old Gods of his forefather, i.e. of Allah, so as to persuade the Pagans towards his cult, when he was in Mecca. After he failed badly in Mecca, he migrated to Medina and started praying towards the Jewish Temple of Jerusalem, so as to persuade Medina's thriving Jewish community to join his cult. But again he failed.

Having failed in Mecca, he had already started terrorizing and plundering the Meccan trade-caravans, which was critical to their livelihood. After his second failure in Medina, Muhammad now decided to terrorize and exterminate the Jews of Medina and capture their wealth.

During this period, he had stolen the names and fetishes from other religions. He created 99 different names of his God in confusion. Among them, Ar-Rahman was the name of a Yemeni idol-God. He copied the vast portions of his ideas from previous scriptures and embedded it in his Quran. He plagiarized the doctrine of paradise (Jannat Al-Firdous) from the Persians.

So, he certainly wasn’t afraid of any God. He cheated his own God, Allah, to fulfill his ambitions and lust, by fabricating verses and stories in His name.

From the above-mentioned facts, one can easily come to a conclusion about Muhammad’s uniqueness. There wasn’t any bit of spirituality in his cult. Every action of his was designed to his own benefit, to attain his goal and satisfy his lusts and desires. Let us put some of his actions on trial for scrutiny.

Devoties or security gaurds?

First, let us ponder over the fact of 5-time daily prayers and the mid-night prayer (Tahajut), and how it helped Muhammad in his career.

Those, who read the hadiths, know that Muhammad had married 15 wives or more, and at the time of his death, he was living with 9 of them in a house, adjacent to his mosque, with a curtain separating his house and the mosque. Muhammad was a coward and always wanted somebody to die for his cause. He and his house were protected by security guards round the clock on a shift basis (Sahih Al-Bukhari 7:734), while he engaged in merry and sexual orgy inside the house, often copulating with all 9 wives on the same night [Bukhari (62:6): "The Prophet used to go round (have sexual relations with) all his wives in one night, and he had nine wives."]

Allah, the most merciful and passionate, it is claimed, loves his creation 70 times more than a mother loves her children. Yet, the merciful Allah ordered His children to line up and salute him 5 times a day at “Muhammad’s mosque” only. When some of his male followers started praying to Allah at a separate houses (mosque) of their own, Muhammad ordered to burn the house, and it was burned down when those men were praying inside (Bukhari Vol 1:617 & 1:626). Praying to Allah from their own house (mosque) makes Allah, alias Muhammad, angry -- because it would not have served Muhammad’s purpose. So, he had made it obligatory for his companions to pray at his mosque annexed to his house.

Muhammad lived in constant fear that the victims of his barbaric crimes might attack him in revenge. So, he wanted to be surrounded by his male followers all the time. That’s why he ordered all his male followers (even if they are blind) to assemble in his mosque-cum-house for each prayer. And he led the prayer to maintain his absolute command over them.

Mosque or terrorist training camp?

The actual purpose of assembling all his followers at his mosque was to ensure his personal security, as well as, to give military training to them for the next raid on the neighboring settlements of Pagans, Jews and Christians, who had refused to accept Muhammad as their king.

Narrated Aisha, “Ethiopians (whom Muhammad has purchased with Khadeeja’s wealth) were playing in the mosque (displaying the skill with spears), I saw the Prophet and the Ethiopians were playing with their spears.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari 1:445).

Modern Muslims! Please pay attention! Besides praying, Muhammad and his companions were playing with “spears” at his mosque.

Muhammad also conducted horse races and spear competitions among his companions cum soldiers. (Bukhari 1:412/ 442 & 443).

Tahajut prayer or nightshift of security gaurds?

Muhammad’s usual practice of attacking his so-called enemies was during the dark hours of the night, often the early-morning darkness hour (Khaybar attack). So, he felt insecure during the night hours, lest he becomes the victim of the same tactic from his victims. Muhammad, therefore, conveniently adjusted the timing of 3 prayers (Fajr, Maghrib and Isha) out of 5, to be prayed during the dark hours. Moreover, he intentionally prolonged the praying time of the 5th Isha prayer, so as to retain his followers in the mosque as long as he could. He was very particular about the 1st and the 5th (Fajr and Isha) prayers. He went to such an extent that he commanded his followers not to obey their mothers, if they restrict them to attend the congregational "Isha" prayer with him. (Bukhari Vol. 1, The Chapter of Adhaan, Chapter 29)

And it did not end there. Muhammad went further and ordered his gullible followers to pray mid-night prayers (Tahajut) at their homes. This prayer was performed by his followers in shifts, i.e. one group after another:

Narrated Abu Uthman: I was a guest of Abu Huraira for seven days. Abu Huraira, his wife and his slave used to get up and remain awake for one-third of the night by turn. Each would offer the night prayer and then awaken the other. (Bukhari 7:352).

The purpose, definitely, was to keep his followers, mostly the slaves, awake throughout the night in case of a night-attack by victims by copycatting his own tactic. This prayer was nothing but a defence strategy to ensure Muhammad’s own protection and security. This hadith alone is sufficient to understand the vacuousness of spirituality of Islamic prayers.

Purpose of Itikaaf, Qhiyaam Al-Lail, Tarawih & Lail-Al-Qadr

As mentioned earlier, Muhammad used the cowardly tactic of attacking innocent tribes during night-hours without prior warnings. Actually, those were not wars, but robbery-raids upon innocent people. He did not spare them even during their sacred months. So, Muhammad had to be very vigilant during his proclaimed sacred month, the Ramadan, with the fear of being attacked by his victims. Though he was, as usual, guarded by his guards round the clock, he wanted to have as many guards as possible during the nights of Ramadan. So, he fabricated the theology of ITIKAAF, QHIYAAM AL-LAIL & LAIL-AL-QADR etc. Out of which, his theology of ITIKAAF (Seclusion in a mosque for the purpose of worshipping Allah only) helped him a lot during Ramadan. At first, he began his Itikaaf with his companions, for the first 10 days of Ramadan, and then he extended it to another mid-ten days, and finally to the last ten days of Ramadan also.

Did Muhammad fear Allah?

Muhammad didn’t considered prayers as a spiritual duty for attaining closeness with God. Instead, he designed, changed or prolonged the prayers and its timing according to his personal need.

1. In most occasions Muhammad purposely extended the timing of Isha, the 5th prayer, so as to retain his followers around his as long as he could. In many instances, he came out of his house to lead the Isha prayer very late, when his assembled followers had already gotten tired and were sleeping in the mosque. Muhammad often said: “If supper is served and the Iqaama for Isha prayer is proclaimed, start with your supper first” (Bukhari 1:640-642 & 7:373-374). This instruction is exclusively for the Isha prayer only. Whereas, for the Fajr, the early-morning-darkness-time prayer, his instructions were just the opposite, because he wants his protectors to come to his mosque as soon as possible. How could he change the timings of prayers, ordained by Allah?
2. When Muhammad had no fear of attack by his enemies on heavily raining and very cold days, he allowed his companions to pray at their homes. (Bukhari 1:590, 605, 635 & 637). (No burning of their houses in this case.)
3. Muhammad’s fear of Allah: Once the Iqama is pronounced and the Prophet was talking to a man in a corner of the mosque, and he did not lead the prayer till the people had slept. (Bukhari 1:615-616) (In this way, Muhammad showed his respect toward his Allah. Why should he fear unnecessarily from his own shadow, Allah)
4. There was no harm if the muadh-dhin laughed while pronouncing the Adhaan or Iqaama. (Bukhari Vol. 1, The book of Adhaan, Chapter 10). (What is wrong in that? After all it was only a get-together of Muhammad’s soldiers).
5. Muhammad forbade his followers to spit in the direction of Qibla during prayers, because they were speaking in private with their Allah and should not spit on their right, as there is an angel standing. However Muhammad allowed spitting on their left or under their left foot. (Bukhari 1:399, 404, 405, 408)
6. When Muhammad arrived at Medina, he first stayed in the house of his maternal uncle to protect his life. (Allah didn’t see fit to protect his life).
7. He started praying facing toward the direction of the Jewish Temple Bait-Al-maqdis on his own for 17 months, leaving aside Kaaba, the house of Allah. (Bukhari 1:39).

CONCLUSION: There is nothing spiritual in Islamic prayers; instead, they were designed solely to Muhammad’s personal benefits and advantage, primarily as a strategic measure for his personal protection. The 5-time daily prayers or any other Islamic prayers are, thus, meaningless today, because their real purpose, namely ensuring the security and protection of the commander of Muslims, are not at all a factor today. Nonetheless they do serve a somewhat different purpose today, which is safeguarding the hold of the Arab rulers upon their thrones under the shade of Islam. What is written above on prayers is only a fraction of such embarrassing information; there are much more scattered in Islamic sources.

It is high time for my Muslim brethren to critically analyze these Islamic sources, written by Allah alias Muhammad and the very respectable scholars of Islam, and get enlightened, instead of wasting their valuable time in lifelong head-banging.

Threat to David Letterman on Muslim forum

NEW YORK – A frequent contributor to a jihadist website has threatened David Letterman, urging Muslim followers to "cut the tongue" of the late-night host because of a joke the comic made on his CBS show.
The Site Monitoring Service, a private intelligence organization that watches online activity, said Wednesday that the threat was posted a day earlier on the Shumuka al-Islam forum, a popular Internet destination for radical Muslims.
The contributor, who identified himself as Umar al-Basrawi, was reacting to what he said Letterman did after the U.S. military announced on June 5 that a drone strike in Pakistan had killed al-Qaida leader Ilyas Kashmiri.
Al-Basrawi wrote that Letterman had made reference to both Osama bin Laden and Kashmiri and said that Letterman had "put his hand on his neck and demonstrated the way of slaughter."
"Is there not among you a Sayyid Nosair al-Mairi ... to cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever?" Al-Basrawi wrote, referring to El Sayyid Nosair, who was convicted of the 1990 killing of Jewish Defense League founder Meir Kahane. Letterman is not Jewish.
Al-Basrawi, which is likely to be an alias, has made some 1,200 postings to the Muslim website, said Adam Raisman, an analyst for the Site Monitoring Service. The private firm, part of the Site Intelligence Group, provides information to government and commercial clients on what jihadists are saying on the Internet and traditional media. Raisman said the online forum is often used by al-Qaida.
Muslim extremist groups in the past few months have increased calls for people to take violent action against certain targets in the West, he said.
"The concern is that there is someone who will read it, agree with it and say, `I want to be the Sayyid Nosair of 2011 and kill David Letterman,'" Raisman said.
The FBI is also looking into the threat, said Jim Margolin, spokesman for the bureau's New York office. "We take every potential threat seriously," he said.
Neither CBS nor a Letterman spokesman, Tom Keaney, would comment on the threat. CBS would not make available a transcript of Letterman's monologue on the killing of Kashmiri.
Letterman has been the target of criminal threats in the past. A former CBS News producer was jailed for trying to extort $2 million from Letterman in 2009 by threatening to expose the host's sexual dalliances with members of his staff. A former painter at Letterman's ranch in Montana was jailed following a 2005 plot to kidnap the TV funnyman's nanny and son.
A radical Muslim group last year warned the creators of "South Park" that they could face violent retribution for depicting the prophet Muhammad in a bear suit on the Comedy Central cartoon. Author Salman Rushdie spent years in hiding after Iranian leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini urged he be killed for blasphemy after writing the book "The Satanic Verses."
Filmmaker Theo van Gogh was killed on an Amsterdam street in 2004 by a Dutch Muslim angered by his film "Submission," a fictional study of abused Muslim women.

Strictly speaking, Michael Smith was wrong. Muhammad did not marry a nine-year-old and consummate the marriage when she was eleven. He actually married a six-year-old and consummated the marriage when she was nine: "The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was six years old and consummated his marriage with her while she was nine years old and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death)." -- Bukhari 7.62.88.
But that is not why he is being investigated. He is being investigated because he told a truth -- Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, had sex with a child -- and Muslims consider truth-telling to be "inciting hatred against Muslims." Witless dhimmi Australian authorities are going along. It is ever thus. Last night the dishonest Imam Moustafa Zayed, in our second debate, kept claiming that I was inciting hatred against Muslims -- and there again, his only evidence was that I tell truths about Islam that he would prefer not be told.

THE radio presenter Michael Smith is being investigated by the media watchdog over his assertion that the prophet Muhammad ''married a nine-year-old and consummated it when she was 11''. The Australian Communications and Media Authority confirmed in a letter dated July 21 that it was investigating the remarks by the 2UE afternoon host.
Adem Cetinay, a Muslim from Bossley Park, complained that Mr Smith was inciting hatred against Muslims through his July 5 broadcast.
''By making this remark he is asserting that God's messenger is a paedophile. This is racist, it's stupid and it is not needed on air,'' he wrote to the station's program director, Peter Brennan.
Mr Brennan replied that Mr Smith had made the ''throwaway line''.
''However, at no time did he refer to any Prophet's name, nor did he use the word 'Prophet'. He did not refer to anybody whatsoever in the broadcast,'' he wrote.
Mr Cetinay took his complaint to ACMA. In a letter, the authority's Eileen Haley said it would embark on an investigation that could take ''several months''.
Meanwhile, Mr Cetinay is awaiting a response over a separate complaint about remarks Mr Smith made over the controversial ''Jesus: a prophet of Islam'' billboard.
''What if someone whacked up a billboard and said well, I think it's a fact that because Muhammad was married to a 11 … you know consummating a marriage with an 11-year-old, by these standards he's a paedophile". His guest, Diaa Mohammed, the founder of MyPeace, which erected the sign, agreed that Muhammad had consummated his marriage with an 11-year-old....
