Florida Appeals Court Rejects Call to Block Judge From Citing Islamic Law in Ruling

 A Florida appeals court has rejected a request to block a Hillsborough judge from upholding Islamic law in a case involving the former trustees of a local Tampa mosque that has garnered the national spotlight.

The state's 2nd District Court of Appeal on Friday denied without comment a petition filed by the mosque, known as the Islamic Education Center of Tampa, which is challenging Hillsborough Circuit Judge Richard Nielsen’s ruling in March that he intended to cite “ecclesiastical Islamic law” in the case, the St. Petersburg Times reported.

The former trustees have been suing the mosque because they claim they were unfairly removed as trustees. Nielsen said in March that based on testimony, “under ecclesiastical law” and pursuant to the Koran, “Islamic brothers should attempt to resolve a dispute among themselves.”

The two parties reportedly agreed ahead of time to use an imam and Islamic Law to resolve any potential differences through arbitration. So Nielsen only referenced Islamic law in deciding whether the two parties could resolve their differences through arbitration. He ruled they could.

The arbitrator ruled in favor of the former trustees, an outcome that would give them control of $2.2 million in mosque funds if the decision is upheld, the newspaper reported.

But mosque officials say the arbitration never happened, and they dispute the meaning of the appeals court ruling. Mosque attorney Paul Thanasides told the newspaper that an appeals court decision without a written opinion means the court wasn’t addressing the merits of the case.

But Lee Segal, a lawyer representing the trustees, told the newspaper that the ruling was a “big time” win for his clients and vindication for Nielsen.

Watch this video of the conflict in Kenya months back. Odinga and Obama are Luo. Odinga and his American counterpart and strategist Obama both campaigned on this canard of "change". Obama campaigned for Odinga. Adam pointed out that Obama been in Nairobi politicking more recently than he's been to Iraq. Why now does Obama pretend he doesn't know him?

This is beyond bad judgment. This is just bad and this story is not going to go away no matter how desperately in love Obamedia is with the Christ child. Big media does not control information anymore. And Obama is culpable. Here I am -- an individual blogger getting all this terrible information on Odinga and the man running for POTUS is in the dark? Think about it.
Obama's bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila's "stooge."



Islamic governments have targeted Kenya as a key element in the spread of Islam in Horn of Africa and ultimately the world. The Kenyan Diaspora including Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Hussein Obama has also played a part. The fall of Kenya into Islamist control would be devastating to anti-terrorist activities in the Horn of Africa, not to mention the potential for expansion of a caliphate. One has to ask, how fast will Kenya go Islamic and apply Shariah law?

In spite of witnessing all these events, I believe that the recent events Kenya stand out as a watershed event signaling emerging resurgence of Islam in Kenya and the beginning of the open Clash of Ideologies between the Muslims and Christians.
The events unfolding do not represent a Clash of Civilizations, ethnic issues or a race issue, the conflict is between Ideologies – Muslim vs. Judeo Christian Ideologies and between Leftist/Marxist authoritarian (Liberal Fascism vs. democratic free enterprise.)
Kenya a Microcosm for Future Events

The battles occurring in Kenya are a microcosm of the future battles that will occur in the West and the United States elections as we witness the growth of Leftist/Marxist – Islamist Alliance striving to achieve “Change” and create a New World Order leading the formation of global Islamic kingdom of God. Whether it is by economic means through the formation of Islamic finance and economics and acquisition of Western assets via the Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs), military and political action, or terrorism, the goal is the same. The growth of Islamic Financial institutions and their Sovereign Wealth Funds applying Shariah law should be an early warning to this growing trend.
