Confused Obama uses ‘change’ slogan in new campaign
Barack Obama came out with a strange theme for the official kickoff of his re-election campaign. Apparently he’s still using the Hope & Change slogan which became popular in 2008. He does realize that ‘change’ isn’t the best slogan for the incumbent to use, right?
“If there’s one thing we learned in 2008, it’s that nothing is more powerful than millions of voices calling for change,” Obama said. “When enough of you knock on doors and enough of you pick up the phone, when enough of you are talking to your friends and your coworkers, when you decide that it’s time for change to happen, guess what? Change happens. Change comes to America.”
” Give me another four years! I promise this time, I mean it, it will happen! We’ll get change! At home,” Pat joked.
The scary part, however, was that glenn knows that if he is re-elected there will be change – but it won’t be any kind that we want.
