Muslims, and is in grave danger.’
Zaki said, in announcements to the press,
that ‘the struggle and the Jihad for the liberation of Jerusalem are not the job
of the Palestinians alone; it is the job of all Muslims and all believers and
all who are loyal and who bear the faith, and Jihad on [Jerusalem’s] behalf is a
personal religious commandment (i.e. incumbent on every individual) [fard
ayn] and not [merely] a communal religious commandment, especially in the
shadow of the threat to the holy city and its inhabitants, coming from the
occupiers who are acting to change its Arabic and Islamic landmarks…’ He noted
that the excavation activities which Israel is carrying out beneath the Al-Aqsa
Mosque threaten the collapse of the Marwani prayer complex [Solomon’s Stables]…
In addition, they may cause a larger collapse of the structures adjacent to
Al-Aqsa, in addition to the building of a new synagogue… with the purpose of
concealing the usual sight of the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa.
He noted the
latest comments of the commander of the so-called Israeli Home Front Command in
Jerusalem, concerning the Marwani complex, and said that he “once again places
before the Arabs and Muslims a historical responsibility.’
Zaki also called
for a Christian conference, also for Jerusalem…
Zaki also called upon the
Arab leaders to hold an urgent Arab summit, since Palestine is the main problem…
and especially since disdain has begun to be shown for the Arabs since the
publication of the Arab peace initiative…
Zaki also demanded action on the
broadest possible scale on all continents in order to isolate Israel as a
punishment for its crimes against man, stone and tree, and for being a wayward
state which is above the law, and to expose its strategic alliance with the
US…
[In conclusion, Zaki] demanded of the Arab League to emphasize the
boycott of Israel.”
Religious War
Palestinian society has undergone a major shift

Zeit University found that 80% of Palestinians approved of hand amputations for
theft. 50% thought this form of punishment should be implemented immediately,

Included in this
Palestinian Islamization is the teaching that Islam is at war with Jews and
Israel. Jews are said to be the enemy of Allah, and PA (Fatah) and Hamas
religious and academic leaders alike have reiterated on numerous occasions the
Quranic teaching that the Hour of Resurrection is dependent on the extermination
of Jews. Thus, the murder of Jews becomes a prerequisite for and fulfillment of
the Islamic ideal. Similarly, Israel’s destruction is presented as an
uncompromising Islamic obligation: Israel is said to exist on Islamic holy land
that must be liberated for Allah.
Kill Jews for
Allah
The PA has built a solid case against Jews.
Hateful demonization and libels, bolstered by religious teachings, depict Jews
as the enemy of Allah. The PA presents as expert witness Allah Himself, Who is
said to have sent humanity a message through His prophet Muhammad that the
killing and wholesale extermination of Jews is a necessary step to bring the
“Hour” – world redemption through Resurrection. The killing of Jews is thus
absolved as an act of murder, elevated by the PA from the abhorrent to a holy
act in the service of God and humanity.

Hamas enshrines this religious teaching in its
Charter: Article 7:

fight the Jews; until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: 0

Moderator at Fatah ceremony: "Our war
with the descendants of the apes and pigs (i.e., Jews) is a war of religion and
faith. Long Live Fatah! [I invite you,] our honorable Sheikh."

Except the Gharqad tree [which will
keep silent]."
Therefore it is no wonder that you see Gharqad [trees]

Schoolbooks
In 2006, the Palestinian Authority Ministry of Higher
Education introduced new 12th grade schoolbooks written by Palestinian educators
who were appointed by the Fatah leadership. PMW reviewed these books and found
that they make no attempt to educate for peace or coexistence with Israel.
Instead Israel's right to exist is adamantly denied and the Palestinian war
against Israel is presented as an eternal religious battle for Islam.
At a press conference releasing the PMW report in the US Senate
building in February 2007, then US Senator Hillary Clinton said:
“These textbooks do not give Palestinian children
an education; they give them an indoctrination. When we viewed this [PMW] report
in combination with other media [from other PMW reports] that these children are
exposed to, we see a larger picture that is disturbing. It is disturbing on a
human level, it is disturbing to me as a mother, it is disturbing to me as a
United States Senator, because it basically, profoundly poisons the minds of
these children.”

Names of Palestinian Authority Schools
The Palestinian Authority transmits ideological
messages that appear in its schoolbooks through the names it gives to its
schools. The schoolbooks define Palestinian terror against Israel since Israel's
founding in 1948 as: "resistance … acts of most glorious heroism." [Arabic
Language, Analysis, Literature and Commentary, Grade 12, p. 105]
In the
spirit of glorifying terror, numerous schools are named after terrorist
murderers.
Israeli cities are presented in Palestinian schoolbooks as if
they are Palestinian cities. In this spirit, schools are given name of the
cities of Israel. See below.
The most common school name PMW has found
is the name Al Khansa – with at least 8 schools given her name. Al Khansa is the
honored mother of Islamic tradition because she expressed joy over the
Shahada (Martyrdom) deaths of her four children.
A PA schoolbook for Grade 8, explains her importance this way:
“Al-Khansa witnessed the Battle of Al-Qadisiyah
with her four sons. She urged them to fight… They fought until all of them fell
as Shahids. When the news reached her she said, ‘Praise be to Allah who
has honored me by their Shahada.’”

Al-Khansa’s celebration of her four sons'
deaths makes her a perfect role model for Palestinian girls, as Palestinian
society has chosen to teach that death is a greater value than life.
One example of this teaching is in Palestinian Authority schoolbook for 13
year-olds that teach children:
“Your enemies seek life while you seek death.”

Al Khansa is a woman who is honored in Islamic
tradition for celebrating her four sons' deaths in battle. The PA presents Al

This video from the Mavi Marmara shows MK Hanin Zoabi with IHH (the terror organization) activists armed with metal rods and clubs on board the "Mavi Marmara", the Turkish ship in the flotilla to Gaza in late May.
Zoabi previously denied she knew of weapons on the Turkish ship in the flotilla to Gaza.
The video was taken in the "Mavi Marmara's" hold. Zoabi is seen wearing an orange life vest standing next to a large group of armed activists of the IHH terror organization.
Zoabi is seen displeased that she was photographed, and she tries to cover the camera lens with her hand ( 1:16 )
According to an Israel Navy commando, at this point, three Navy commandos were being taken into the hold in an attempt to use them as hostages, and on the evidence of the video, Zoabi must have seen this.
Later in the video, Zoabi is heard arguing with one of the commando commanders in an effort to prevent the evacuation of a wounded man to hospital in Israel.
In the clip, an officer tells Zoabi that the man should be evacuated. Zoabi replied, "He doesn't want to be evacuated."
The officer said, "What? He doesn't want to be evacuated? Where do you want to take him? To Lebanon?"
Until now, Zoabi has denied that she knew that activists on the "Mavi Marmara" were armed.
Video taken by IDF naval boat shows the passengers of the Mavi Marmara, one of the ships in the 'Free Gaza' Flotilla, violently attacking IDF soldiers who were trying to board the ship after having sent repeated requests for the boat to change course.
Large groups of passengers surrounded soldiers and beat them with metal poles and chairs, and threw one soldier over the side of the ship. Some passengers grabbed pistols from the IDF soldiers and opened fire. As a result of the attacks, seven IDF soldiers were injured, and nine of the passengers were killed.
The 'Free Gaza' Flotilla had publicly insisted on their non-violent intentions, however their violent attack on the IDF soldiers was clearly premeditated. They had knives, metal rods, firebombs and other items ready to use.
— In footage taken from the Mavi Marmara activists are seen attacking the soldiers with a stun grenade, a box of plates, and water hoses as the soldiers attempt to board the ship. the activists are also waiving around metal rods and chains later used to attack the soldiers with. The IDF soldiers were armed with paint ball guns (used for riot dispersal) and pistols which they were ordered to use only as a last resort.
In the early hours of the 31st of May 2010, IDF soldiers boarded the ships of the "Free Gaza" Flotilla, after the ships refused to redirect their course. Aboard the Mavi Marmara the soldiers encountered serious violence when, in a preplanned attack, the activists on board lynched the soldiers with knives, metal rods and stole two of their guns. As a result 7 soldiers were injured and 9 activists were killed.
Early this morning, IDF Naval Forces boarded six ships attempting to break the maritime closure of the Gaza Strip. This happened after numerous warnings from Israel and the Israeli Navy that were issued prior to the action. The Israel Navy requested the ships to redirect toward Ashdod where they would be able to unload their aid supplies which would then be transferred over land after undergoing security inspections.
During the boarding of the ships, the demonstrators onboard attacked the IDF Naval personnel with live fire and light weaponry including knives and clubs. Additionally one of the weapons used was grabbed from an IDF soldier. The demonstrators had clearly prepared their weapons in advance for this specific purpose.
As a result of this life-threatening and violent activity, naval forces employed riot dispersal means, as well as live fire.
According to initial reports, these events resulted in the deaths of nine demonstrators and seven naval personnel were injured, some from gunfire and some from various other weapons. Two of the soldiers are moderately wounded and the remainder sustained light injuries. All of the injured, Israelis and foreigners have been evacuated by helicopter to hospitals in Israel.
Reports from IDF forces on the scene are that it seems as if part of the participants onboard the ships were planning to lynch the forces.
The interception of the flotilla followed numerous warnings given to the organizers of the flotilla before leaving their ports as well as while sailing towards the Gaza Strip. In these warnings, it was made clear to the organizers that they could dock in the Ashdod sea port and unload the equipment they are carrying in order to deliver it to the Gaza Strip in an orderly manner, following the appropriate security checks. Upon expressing their unwillingness to cooperate and arrive at the port, it was decided to board the ships and lead them to Ashdod.
IDF naval personnel encountered severe violence, including use of weaponry prepared in advance in order to attack and to harm them. The forces operated in adherence with operational commands and took all necessary actions in order to avoid violence, but to no avail.
