Press Conference to Announce Occupy the Virginia General Assembly - Jan. 10, 2012 - Richmond, Virginia

Chris Dorsey and two other members of Occupy Richmond [Teddy Parham and Silver Persinger] held a press conference to announce that Occupy Richmond is planning to occupy a location near Capitol Square while the Virginia General Assembly is in session beginning Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10 AM.

This "Press Conference" was not authorized by Occupy Richmond's General Assembly and therefore not "official" but it was organized by members of Occupy Richmond despite protest from other members of Occupy Richmond. The event was sparsely attended but Tracy Sears from WTVR News 6 did come and interview Chris. Chris listed his grievances with existing government at all levels and the economic system.
